PIN is blocked

Contact the provider that originally sold the phone for an unlock code. Motorola does not have access to these codes. The provider will need the IMEI number from the phone to locate an unlock code.

Forgot your code

If you forget your unlock code, enter 1234 or contact your service provider.

If you forget your security code, SIM PIN code, PIN2 code, or call barring password, contact your service provider.

Phone will not ring

Verify the following:

Problems using SMS or MMS

Check that service is available on your phone and that your recipient has service.

Cannot send or receive calls

This can be caused by a weak or low signal, or the network being busy. If this consistently occurs, contact your service provider.

Poor reception and dropped calls

Possible causes:

Error Messages

Emergency only

The only number that can be dialed from the phone is an emergency number. Possible causes:

If this error occurs in your typical service area, turn your phone off then on to re-register with the network.

Network not available

You are out of your service area or there may be a network problem. If this condition persists, contact your service provider.

Data service not available

Possible causes:

Not enough memory

You exceeded the available phone memory. Delete unneeded content from your phone.
