What error occurs? Perhaps this is due to the high version of your bootloader on which it is possible to flash only the firmware R261171MRK_U_99.41.08R and its higher versions.


There is probably no simple way to downgrade the bootloader version for V3xx. BTW, flashing random firmwares even for V3xx is dangerous because of SIM-locks or incorrect flash may leave your phone permanently in bootloader mode with some error.

Why do you want to flash this phone? Do you need to add the European 3G bands (900/2100 MHz) instead of the American ones (850/1900 MHz) by flashing European firmware? AFAIR, the 3G frequencies can be set in the network settings, there are no European bands?

Yes! I do need to add the European 3G Band (WCDMA 2100).
When I go to "Settings > Network > Network Setup > Band" it only shows me the American ones.

Would flashing solve the problem?
I tried editing its SEEMs to show the 2100GHz frequence but it didn't work either.

I read some topics about V3xx on this forum and it looks like it's not technically possible, sorry. It seems that the 3G transmitters of the European and American phones were different. People were eager to buy only the European versions of V3xx because the American ones worked only in networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE here. I haven't found any successful cases of flashing American versions of V3xx to obtain European 3G bands.

Has the UK already shut down 2G and 2.5G networks?
