For starters I do not speak "Russion" or w/e I speak English. I am from the United States of America. I need help with my new MOTOROLA Rokr E8 I purchased from t-mobile.

Oh wow people here do speak english.. I made this topic to grab attention first. Alright.. Now.

I have a Motorola Rokr E8 from t-mobile. Love the phone absolutely LOVE it. But there's a few things with it.

1: When I log onto MSN with my phone and IM people they can't see my IM's. When they IM me I can't see theres.
(Strange, because it works well with yahoo messenger.)

2: For no reason at all sometimes my phone will say "Synchronizing" when my phone isn't even plugged into my USB or anything.

3: Another note on the Messengers it takes extremely long, if not at all to "Update" or "Sign off"

I can't read it.. so I wanted to know what it was for..

Sorry, never heard of that problems. I wonder if anybody here uses MSN or Yahoo messenger, that protocols aren't popular in Russia.
"Прошивки для е8" this topic contains link to different firmwares for E8 phone. If you don't know what is it, then you don't need it.

So, what is your firmware version? The only T-Mobile firmware is R6713_G_71.01.8BR, look at your's version and compare which is newer. Other firmwares are unbranded or branded for different operator. If you'll flash one of them to your phone it will not make any damage, but apparently you'll lose warranty.

It seems to be newest T-Mobile firmware. So, you can try to flash every firmware in the list, take a look on changes. You can always fallback to you original firmware, since it is available as flashfile.

How do I install?

Well, I've got a Z6, but I'm sure the installation procedure isn't that different, anyway.

What you do is:

1. make sure your handset is connected in USB mode, not modem or the other one or two things it has in there. (See your user manual for details about the connection modes.);
2. copy the application into your phone's memory or onto your memory card;
3. unplug the phone (if it was connected in USB mode AND if the application's on the card);
4. launch the file manager from the phone menu;
5. find the application installer file and highlight it;
6. press install or just the center key and reply "yes" to the bunch of stupid questions the phone's software asks you. If you don't want to launch the application upon installation, just say no to that when asked.

After that, you can go the applications section of the menu and launch your newly installed game or whatever from there.

I hope that helps. And... It's time to learn how to find things on some US boards for Motorola modding. The above procedure is dead simple, after all. AND: you WILL NOT brick your phone that way! Don't worry. A Motorola, even if bricked, is easily resurrected, anyway.
