We need your help to completed our Vietnamese Language Pack LP0021(LP0021) for i398. R373
I’ve tried to use all your SHXCodec version to Extract LP0021 form original mobilephone E398 and
Combine it into new R373 LP…

The following is my full details of what I’ve done to make LP0021 R373

1.Open I398-1ER-Itunes English_Portugues_Cheat -LP03 only-PCMMod.shx
And extract English Language Strings from that LP
Directly translate it into Vietnamese and put in a txt file.

2.Open R372_G_0E[1][1].20.95R_lang0021_reflash.shx and extract Language Pack

3. ReOpen I398-1ER-Itunes English_Portugues_Cheat -LP03 only-PCMMod.shx
And add Vietnamese Language File I’ve just Extract from R372

4.Parse Language then it displays like this:

5. Load the file contains translated Vietnamese language I’ve done from English(r373)
Then pack it

But when I parsed it again. I had full of blank.

2 days after I was lookin’ for another way to Loadstring in to the OLD R372 Vietnamese Language but I couldn’t
Then I found that you had a program name Font Editor. I was tried to explore Vietnamese LP(R372) and I found that inside the Language file
There’re Vietnamese font. I think can make a font map for that File using ISE 1.0 or such things like that… But What for??

So! I ask for your help.
1.Do you know details, structure of an SMG CG4 language file? If you do, please help me!
2.How can you read strings in a language file? Where is located, how it was packed?
3.Could I use HEX Workshop to Edit String that hide in Language File???

We’re all Vietnamese Moto lover, but we only have Vietnamese Language for original E398 please help us!

Hello.

As I know, there is no structural differences in R372 and R373 langpacks.
Have you tried to flash youe 0021 R372 LP to R373 platform directly, without any operations?

Насколько я знаю, между ленгами для R372 и R373 отличий в структуре нет.
Пробовали ли вы просто прошивать на R373 нужный языковой пакет от платформы R372, без редактирования?

It is possible to extract CG4 from R372 and combine with R373( Only take Ramloader) then Flash it
I did it from the very first time... but there're so many diffirent between R373 and R372

I've just make a simple comparision to show you those diffirents


Then this picture show that r372 is missing so many Language string ID
and they DO not MATCH with R373


If you want to see Vietnam R373 txt strings, EN R373 txt String and Vietnam R372 txt strings please tell me!

Curently there is no way to modify font layout in langpack, because it is not discovered yet.
You can chage original English fonts, but how about SMS, that you will receive?

So the best way is - use English, or wait original Motorola LP.
Of course, you can edit R372 strings in SHX CoDec, to make it work with R373.

Товарищ хочет сделять вьетнамский ленгпак для R373 плтформы.
Проблема в том, что ID строк в ленгах 372 и 373 не совпадают.
А нужного языка в известных ленгпаках для 373 нет.

Thanks so much for your reply but it'd better for me if you write it in English because http://babelfish.altavista.com[TRANSLATOR] always return HARD TO UNDERSTAND translation.

and I think if there's a way to mannually edit the R372 Language Pack???

Strings in LP are packed, so the best way to view/edit them - use SHX CoDec, that have such function.

Using your new SHXCoDec 2.6, I open the old R372 Vietnamese lang pack
And parse Language ID: 0C(Vietnamese)
DO NOTHING
Pack strings 2 times
Then this old message appears
It seems SHXCoDec can not work with Codepage 1258 [ANSI/OEM Vietnam]

As I thnk, puper do not use Unicode when displaying strings, he use Russian/English codepage.
Better he answer :)

Probaly he's doing another project and don't have time to look after SHXCoDec when he's just release ver. 2.60 of SHXCoDec...
We look forward to hear from him, about brand new SHXCoDec, with CP 1258[Vietnamese]

Random, ты не прав, в лэнгпаке сами данные в юникоде, поэтому юникод поддерживается по определению...без него никак.
Тут проблема м.б. в самом DBGrid, его надо на вьетнамский настроить.. (какой он вообще - иероглифы/клинопись?)
Или может быть вьетнамских вариантов тоже уйма.
Та надпись, которая у него показалась, возникает в случае - если в строке встречается символ, котрого нет в "оригинальной языковой матрице". Для примера, в англ. лэнгпаке попрбуйте собрать слово с русской Ы например или Ё, Щ, Ъ. Хотя некоторые символы там есть (например в англ.матрице встречаются буквы от слов Русский, Украiньска и т.д). Может он недопустимые иероглифы пишет? которых нет в наборе - или из какого другого набора.....
Моих знаний англ. не хватит ему всё это объянить :)

тебе надо просто отображение само в юникоде делать. т.е. заставит DBGrid понимать юникод. или выводить в виндовый ListView32 - он понимает...

Так вот об этом я и говорил :)
Поянтно, что в файле Unicode, Но все стандартные компоненты Delphi не поддерживают его нормальным образом.
Могу посоветовать Tnt Delphi Unicode Controls http://tnt.ccci.org/delphi_unicode_controls - там практически все компоненты передаланы под Юникод, в т.ч. и DbGrid

just change string -> WideString !!!
i have test shxcodec 2.60 , i know it written in delphi.Why shxCodec doesn't support unicode ?
