OK, for any one who wants to try Qtopia on the V8, here is how to.
1.) you need to run LM5 on your V8, because the "mod" mod is needed which is installed only in LM5.
2.) download this and unrar, there are 2 files, qtopia.img and script.csh.
3.) connect via FTP to V8 and create a new folder, called "Qtopia" in /ezxlocal, then copy the qtopia.img file into /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/ and the script.csh file into /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/Programs. This is needed as those path are set in the script.
4.) Now open MS-DOS command prompt and enter "telnet 192.168.16.2", login as "root", then enter this command "cd /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/Programs" and press enter. To be sure use the "ls" command and you should see the script.csh file you have copied earlier.
5.) now enter this command "sh script.csh"
If everything went correct, you will see some lines of output. But now open you phone and Qtopia should be running.
Looks nice but not much can be done with it so far.
