Hello, I'm from Italy and I've found (after a long research of the dead c350.ushost.ru :)) your community that is surely one of the most advanced in producing softwares for P2K cell phones...

I use the wonderful p2k manager and I simply love it :) but I suggest 2 things (if they are possible):
- Make the File manager like an Explorer window (it is more friendly :))
- Make the P2kMan to work also using the modem driver (so also BlueThoot users can work with it) but I don't know if it is possible...

Then... I've seen the P2kSync software that is almost uknown in the western motorola communities... I've tried it and it seems very nice, but, not understanding Russian language, it's hard to use it... Could you translate into English?

Nice to meet you here!

As I understood you use p2kman filemanager. As to its interface, the program develops rapidly and hopefully it will get the interface as you wish it to be like Windows Explorer ;). But as this program isn't commercial project, than it develops having free time to its author, known as Vilko. So it hard to tell when all the visions will be realized :)

As to your second wish about using this filemanager having the modem feature as well... As I understood reading latest Vilko posts here on the forum... it is already possible in theory (Vilko will correct me if I'm wrong) and hopefully will be realized in practice :) Also this would give the possibility to use p2kman and p2ksync concurently or even to combine these programs in one ;).

As to your wish of p2ksync english interface... the program is redeveloping and I try to persuade the author of this program to make program's interface also available in english.

P.S. It is better not to use automatic-translation... it's really funny to read such translations :)

Well... That's not a problem... I've both the usb wire and the bluethoot usb dongle and they work in the same way.
In fact the bluethoot modem works just like the usb modem and uses the AT commands creating a virtual modem in a virtual COM port (the same thing that the USB modem does).
I've tested some p2k softwares wich uses the AT commands (like Motomate and p2kSynk) and they all work correctly both with USB wire and bluethoot dongle, so if you're able to use also the AT commands in the p2k manager, the bluethoot users will be able to use the P2kMan.

Anyway, if you want, I'm available as a betatester B)

Then I've another little suggestion and a question:
- Can you make possible to upload more than one file at time (activating the multi-selection in the "Open" - upload - window)?
- Some italian users, today, after scanning the file p2kman.exe with Norton AV have found the virus W32.Bertle... According to me the AV wrongs, anyway, what do you think about?

Ah... When do you plan indicatively to release the new version of p2k manager? :P

Ok, I hope that p2ksync will be also in english... It is a very usefull software and I don't think that it is a great work to translate it... :)
If the author can't do it, is there anyone who can translate p2ksync? :P

I've tested some p2k softwares wich uses the AT commands (like Motomate and p2kSynk) and they all work correctly both with USB wire and bluethoot dongle, so if you're able to use also the AT commands in the p2k manager, the bluethoot users will be able to use the P2kMan.

But p2kman work with phone via usb "test command interface" and AT commands not used (used only to switch to p2k mode)
try send at+mode=8 command to you phone via BlueThoot and see, what will be with phone...

As I said you via ICQ, the at+mode=8 or at+mode=12 (the ones to make the test command interface to turn on and off) doesn't work, so now it is not possle to use p2k drivers with BlueThoot... Maybe on the future.... :)
