Hi there moto-fan's :)
I have written a small program called Motopik.

What is this program for?
Motopik is designed to be File&Photo manager for P2K compatible Motorola phones (like C650 etc...)
It can be used in two ways - as a File Manager and as a Photo Manager.


Modes of operation
- File Manager
In this mode, you see all the files on your phone. You can download and delete them, and you can upload new files.


- Photo Manager
When this mode is active, you see only the JPG files located in /[drive]/mobile/picture/ directory of your phone (photos taken by the camera). If you wish, you can setup Motopik to download all photos to specified directory, every time you connect the phone. This is done automatic, without prompts. The option is called "Download all photos on connect". If the file you are trying to download already exists, it can be skipped or overwtiten, according to the option you selected. Also, you can chose to delete the files from the phone, once they are downloaded.
The checkboxes in front of every file in Photo Manager mode, are intended to prevent Motopik from automatic downloading of files that are not photos from the camera (wallpapers, screensavers, etc...). If the checkbox in front of the file is checked, the file will be allways skipped from downloading.

I have written a small program in Delphi.
What it does is: sits in the system tray.
When p2k phone is connected, it downloads all photos from /a/mobile/picture to some directory. No messages, no prompts. It downloads *ONLY* jpg files, and shows *ONLY* jpg files in the filelist (pictures taken by the camera). If a file from /a/mobile/picture is already downloaded to the target directory, the program can be set up to overwrite it, or to skip to the next file. There is also an option to delete the files from the phone, once they are downloaded.
You can also upload any file to /a/mobile/picture (but it won't show in the program if it's not jpg).

There is a plain-text language file, so, if tou are interested, you can translate it to your language.
Currently there are two languages - English and Bulgarian (I am from Bulgaria). I will appreciate if someone can make the Russian translation.
There may be bugs - if you find one, tell me. (here or on my e-mail).

Yesterday I made some changes to Motopik. Now it has two modes of operation - Picture Manager and File Manager.
In PM mode you work only with the jpg files from /a/mobile/picture/ - this reduces the time needed to refresh the filelist and download the photos.
The FM mode is a bit different. When FM mode is active, you see all the files in the phone - you can delete/download/upload. When you upload you can chose the directory to which you are uploading.
Currently you can't change the file attributes, but it will be available in the next version, so stay alert if you find Motopik useful.

By the way, this morning when I edited my previous post, about the new version 0.2, I forgot to upload it :)
I have uploaded it now.

The RU translation is now included, but I have a problem with the hebrew. I think the problem is in my PC because I dont have the hebrew fonts installed, and also if I am not wrong, there is a problem with bulgaran and hebrew encodings:)
For now, it is not included in the archive.

Tomorrow I will make the lang files separate from each other, so you can edit them more easily.
Also in the new 0.2 version there are some new string_id's (4-5) so I had to include them in the RU trans. by Osta (using my limited Russian knowlege - i have studied Russian some years in school :) )

Also, I compressed the exe with UPX, now it is only about 400k.
(Delphi makes so _BIG_ executables....)

I have it from some time in my big Moto software collection :D
In Motopik I wanted to make the downloading more automated, not the uploading:)
Before, I was using p2k tools to download the pictures. But it takes time to connect, then to refresh, navigate to the them, select which files to download, and download them...
Now, Motopik does this instead of me. :)
