Motorola V360 FirmWare (FW) Description

5xR series (58R, 5AR, 5CR) - The oldest FW versions, not used now.
Positives: You can grant FileSystem access for java app's (use MotoMidMan); CORElet support; supports EDGE.
Negatives: Ringtones from TransFlash card are not supported. Sometimes contacts from phonebook may disapper.

Positives: You can grant FileSystem access for java app's (use MotoMidMan); CORElet support; supports EDGE. Unlimited video capture (actually linited only by free space on memory card). Supports ringtones and photocall pictures from TransFlash card.
Negatives: EDGE doesnt work on some flexes.

Can't be reflashed to older firmware versions (exept using TestPoint)

2) "USB Charging" option allows turn USB charging ON or OFF directly from phone menu
3) Java seems to be working faster
4) There are no built-in sounds (like Classic, Continental, etc) - Flex dependent
5) Unlimited video recording
7) Little better photo quality
Negatives:
1) There is no ringtone support from memory card
2) You can't enter SMS or Phonebook duering call
3) MediaViewer can't restore short messages from backup
4) Still problems with CORElets
