Osta , i follow that guide and i also can find new offset for K1 from L7e patch , but after i apply that patch , my K1 just boot on with white screen !
and do i need add '' 0 '' to offset ! such as when i have 1452C offset , do i have to add '' 0 '' to become 0001452C ?!

I also want to learn to port patches but google translate doesn't translate the russian guide well. This's a risky process and if we do anything wrong caused by wrong or missing translation, We may say goodbye to phone.

I hope you or some other member of Motofan family could write an english guide for porting patches.

"How to port patchs"
With this instruction you can port any easy patch.

Needed Soft: SHXCodec and any HEX-editor (WinHex for example)



We have two firmwares :
1) Already Pathed Firmware
2) Firmware , needs to be patched

Open any patch file (*.fpa) in text-editor , you can see that all patches have two main blocks:

[Patch_Info]
and
[Patch_Code]

in [Patch_Code] section we can see offsets and data, must be writed to this offsets in firmware.
for example path

[Patch_Code]
004BDFE4: AABBCCF0F1F2F3

will find offset 0x4BDFE4 in firmware and overwrite existing data with 7 bytes (AA BB CC F0 F1 F2 F3).

but we can't apply this patch to any other firmware, because it has different offset for this data.

So we must port this patch:

1) Open "Already Pathed" firmware file in SHXCodec, and separate it to code groups.
After that you can find Code Groups smg files in the firmware directory.

2)Open CG1 smg file in Hex-Editor, go to our offset 0x4BDFE4.
You can see 7 bytes at our offset : E3 50 00 0E 0A 00 00 - it is our pattern;

3) Open "needs to be patched" firmware in SHXCodec, separate it to code groups, and open CG1 in
HEX-Editor

4) Find our pattern in file , look at offset , and write it into PathFile

for example, if you find our pattern at offset 459F1C :
